I paint using layers of colour, often incorporating decorative metal, gold and silver leaf, and collage. The added words and images are generally of my own artworks and photographs, and they help reflect the piece’s mood.

My goal is for the viewer to enter into a private dialogue with the piece and experience an emotional reaction. The meaning is open for the viewer to discover.
